Over
the years I have amassed quite a collection of miniature frogs
and have written at least two stories with frogs as characters.
As yet, I haven't made the setting for the second story.
This
strange fellow was atop a long iron stake; apparently intended
for use in a garden, and I knew immediately I had to have
him. I talked my husband into removing the long iron piece
so the plaque would be easier to store until I make the setting.
My
plan is to use a ready-made shadow box with glass front, paint
it to match, and glue it onto this plaque. The outer edges
of this frog that show will form a dimensional frame. Depending
on the size of the box I use, I may need to remove the frog's
feet, then glue them back when the scene is finished.

At
this point, I am not sure if I will use the sign with this
frog, or perhaps with a magician named Abra Cadabra?
